With video games an integral part of international culture and a major part of everyday life for many, the amazing musical compositions created specifically for games have become iconic in their own right. It is an increasingly popular way for composers to have their music heard and enjoyed.
EA draws top-talent to their ever-popular games and their composers are no exception.


Bill Brown
Bill Brown began his career composing for well known video game titles including Tom Clancy's "Rainbow Six," "Return to Castle Wolfenstein," and "The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction." Building on the success of such scores, his work continues to expand into film and TV as he is currently the composer for "CSI:NY."


Jamie Christopherson
Jamie Christopherson has scored for most every type of media. As a composer for video games, his credits include "The Lord of the Rings" series and "Mortal Kombat: Armageddon," as well as film and TV including "Crow: Wicked Prayer" and the SciFi Channel's "Phantom Force."


Michael Giacchino
Michael Giacchino has scored over 40 video games, films and TV series. Giacchino's melodies run the gamut from driving and melancholic to suspenseful and serene with credits that include the PlayStation game, "The Lost World," based on the Steven Spielberg box office hit, TV's "Lost" and "Alias," as well as the Pixar film "The Incredibles."


Christopher Lennertz

Christopher Lennertz is a composer, producer, conductor, and arranger for film, television, video games, and records. He has studied with Elmer Bernstein, David Raksin, and Christopher Young and has a degree in composition from USC’s Thornton School of Music. He has worked with such artists as Basil Poledouris, Michael Kamen, Mark Mancina, Ozomatli, The RZA, and Alien Ant Farm. He was named Best New Composer in 2002 by Cinemusic for his work on Clive Barker’s "Saint Sinner." His collaboration with Ozomatli on their record "Street Signs" garnered a Grammy Award for best Latin Rock Album. He won an Interactive Academy Award in 2004 for "Medal of Honor: Rising Sun" from EA, was nominated again in 2006 for Activision’s GUN, and was also nominated this year for an Emmy Award for his music on the Warner Brother’s series "Supernatural," produced by McG. Up next is "The Comebacks" from FOX and the producers of "Wedding Crashers" as well as "The Perfect Christmas" with Terrence Howard and Queen Latifah. At only 34 years old, Christopher Lennertz has scored 25 feature films, 4 network television series, some of the worlds biggest interactive titles, and has spent weeks on the Billboard charts. Mr. Lennertz currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California and is represented by the First Artists Management and Format Entertainment.


Jeremy Soule
"Composer and musician Jeremy Soule has scored award-winning video games, television, film and interactive sound tracks. For over a decade, Soule has provided music for some of the most successful and admired games of all time. “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic,” “Harry Potter,” “Total Annihilation,” “SOCOM: The Navy Seals” and the “Elder Scrolls” series can all attribute music to him. His versatility as a composer has also been demonstrated from his critically acclaimed traditional Asian score for “Guild Wars Factions” to his work with children’s properties such as “Rugrats” and “Lemony Snicket and the Series of Unfortunate Events.” He has also composed for the feature films, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe” and “C.S. Lewis: Beyond Narnia.”

The year 2006 witnessed one of the best years yet for Soule with such critical and commercial success coming from “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion,” “Guild Wars: Factions/Nightfall,” “Prey” and the World War II epic “Company of Heroes.” Soule won the “Best Score” award at both the MTV Video Music Awards and Spike TV’s Video Game Awards. He was also honored with his third career British Academy Award nomination, as well as numerous press awards such as Game Daily’s “most iPod-worthy score”.

Brian Transeau
Although electronica musician, Brian "BT" Transeau is best known for pioneering the trance genre and remixing legendary musicians, he has recently produced and scored many Hollywood films and video games. His work encompasses everything from scoring the Oscar-winning film, "Monster," to remixing Tori Amos, Diana Ross and The Doors. His game titles include "Need for Speed," "Burnout Revenge" and "Wreckless: The Yazuka Missions."
